Uganda, February 6-8, 2026 – “Coming together, learning together, growing together.” This was the spirit at the heart of the recent Saline Process Multiplying Trainers (MT) training, hosted  at The Great Outdoor Adventure.

We give thanks to God for His unwavering faithfulness throughout this impactful event. The training was graciously organized and sponsored by IHS Global, bringing together five of the International Saline Partnership (ISP): IHS Global, Healthcare Christian Fellowship International (HCFI), Nurses Christian Fellowship International (NCFI), International Christian Dental and Medical Association (ICMDA), and the Benevolent Medical Fellowship.

  • Saline Process Components: We explored the various training tiers, including SPWT, Taster, SPOT, and SPTTT.

  • Practical Logistics: Best practices for organizing and running successful trainings.

  • Saline Online Community: A hands-on workshop navigating the Saline website, creating teams, and posting training events.

  • People & Strategy: Clarifying roles and responsibilities, discussing witness training teams, effective coaching strategies, and regional planning within our partner organizations.

Looking Ahead: Prayer and Strategy

The event concluded with a time of prayer for all partner organizations, lifting up specific HCFI prayer points:

  1. Thanksgiving: For the progress made in the Saline work, especially the multiplication of MTs and coaches, for the 90 years of HCFI’s existence, and for faithful leaders like Bro. Tim Okai whose mentorship, commitment, and discipline have strengthened the mission.
  2. Vision and Direction: For wisdom and clarity as we reorganize the Saline database and strengthen effective coaching and mentorship, asking God to expand the vision, increase enthusiasm, and grow the impact of Saline trainings across sub-Saharan Africa.
  3. Provision: For God’s provision over logistical and financial challenges, increased funding, strategic partnerships, and sustainable resources to support and advance the Saline ministry.

As we move forward, we are committed to strengthening our coaching networks. You can download the HCFI Sub-Saharan Africa Coaching Strategy here:
