The Uganda Healthcare Christian Fellowship (UHCF) family recently gathered for a time of profound fellowship, learning, and spiritual renewal. From the 5th to the 7th of September 2025, the Namirembe Resource Centre (NAREC) buzzed with energy as healthcare professionals from across the nation united under the powerful theme: “Service for an Eternal Reward.” Colossians 3:23
The three-day event, which combined our Annual General Meeting (AGM) with our National Conference, was a beautiful testament to the dedication of those who serve on the frontlines of both health and faith.
A Gathering of Hearts and Minds
The conference saw an incredible turnout of all sorts of health professionals including priests. It was a vibrant tapestry of experience and passion, all woven together by a shared commitment to integrating Christian faith with exemplary healthcare practice. The atmosphere was one of joyful reunion, heartfelt worship, and a collective desire to be equipped for greater service.
Equipping for Service: Insightful and Educative Sessions
The core of the conference was a series of insightful plenary sessions and breakout workshops designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Christian healthcare workers. The theme, “Service for an Eternal Reward,” was explored in depth, reminding us that our daily work in clinics, hospitals, and communities is not merely a profession, but a calling with everlasting significance.
The speakers, renowned for their expertise and faith, delivered powerful messages that were both intellectually stimulating and deeply encouraging. The sessions were not just lectures but interactive dialogues, sparking conversations that continued long into the breaks.
Carrying the Torch Forward
As the conference concluded on the 7th of September, there was a palpable sense of refreshment and recommitment. Attendees left with renewed vision, practical tools, and the affirmed knowledge that they are part of a larger national family dedicated to serving God through healthcare.
The UHCF 2025 National Conference was more than an event; it was a divine appointment. It successfully equipped, inspired, and challenged every attendee to continue their vital work, remembering that our service in this life carries the promise of an eternal reward.
