28th March 2026 | Ntungamo District, South Western Uganda

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We give thanks to God for the successful Saline Process Witness Training (SPWT) held on 28th March 2026 at Itojo General Hospital in Ntungamo District, South Western Uganda. This impactful training was organized under the leadership of Rev. Peace Magundu, the Uganda Healthcare Christian Fellowship (UHCF) Ankole Region Coordinator.

Gratitude to God and Partners

We thank God for His faithfulness in enabling this training to take place. Special appreciation goes to the UHCF national office for the financial support that made this event possible. Truly, this training stands as a testimony of God’s provision and guidance in advancing healthcare missions.

Appreciation to Trainers

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated trainers: Mr Mukasa Gaurd, Thembo Charles, Rev. Peace Magundu, and Dr. Muhindo Reuben. Your commitment, time, and passion for equipping healthcare workers to be effective witnesses in their workplaces is deeply appreciated. May God richly bless you and continue to use you for His glory.

Outstanding Local Leadership and Hospitality

Special recognition goes to Dr. Niwamanya Patrick, the Mission Coordinator of the Hospital Fellowship. His exceptional servant leadership was evident through:

  • Mobilizing participants
  • Coordinating all logistics
  • Providing meals together with his wife

We pray that God abundantly blesses him, strengthens his ministry, and increases his impact for His glory.

A Time of Reflection

We also acknowledge with deep sorrow the loss of a staff member from Itojo General Hospital, which affected attendance as many staff attended the burial. We extend our heartfelt condolences and pray that God continues to comfort the bereaved family and the entire hospital community during this difficult time.

Training Participation and Impact

Despite the circumstances, the training was successful, with a total of 34 participants. These included:

  • Doctors
  • Nurses and Midwives
  • Medical students

Participants represented:

  • Itojo General Hospital
  • Ntungamo College of Nursing and Midwifery
  • Mbarara Institute of Health Sciences

The training equipped participants with practical skills to integrate faith and healthcare, enabling them to effectively witness to patients in their daily clinical practice.

Leadership Appointment

During the training, Rev. Peace Magundu officially appointed Dr. Niwamanya Patrick as the UHCF Ntungamo District Coordinator. He has already demonstrated great zeal and a clear vision to expand outreach to more hospitals and medical institutions across the district.

We look forward to supporting him in this new role and strengthening the fellowship across Ntungamo.

Follow-Up and Mentorship

Plans are underway to provide continuous follow-up and coaching to all trained witnesses. This will ensure sustained growth, accountability, and effective application of the Saline Process principles in their workplaces.

Participants’ Testimonies

“I would like to sincerely express my heartfelt appreciation for the insightful and impactful training that was conducted. The entire learning experience was truly enriching and beneficial to my personal and professional development.
Just like the saline process restores fluid balance, improves circulation, and stabilizes a patient’s condition, this training has refreshed my knowledge, strengthened my competence, and renewed my confidence. The information shared has filled important gaps in my understanding and equipped me with practical skills that I can apply effectively in my daily practice.
I deeply appreciate the dedication, patience, and expertise demonstrated by the facilitators. The sessions were interactive, well-structured, and easy to follow, making the learning process smooth and meaningful.
Thank you for investing time, effort, and resources into organizing such a valuable training. The knowledge gained will continue to influence my performance positively and help me provide better service.
I am truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to more learning experiences that continue to build and strengthen our professional capacity.
Thank you once again for this refreshing and empowering training experience.”
