Equipping healthcare professionals to serve God and humanity through prayer, evangelism, and discipleship.
We believe prayer is the foundation of all Christian work in healthcare. Our prayer ministry gathers professionals to intercede for patients, colleagues, and the nation.
The UHCF Prayer Ministry brings together healthcare professionals who believe in the power of prayer. We hold regular prayer meetings at hospitals and healthcare facilities across Uganda.
Members are encouraged to pray for their patients, for wisdom in clinical decisions, and for Uganda's healthcare system. We also organise national prayer days where UHCF members across the country unite in prayer.
Join us in our weekly prayer sessions and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as we bring our work before God.
The Saline Process equips healthcare workers to naturally share their faith in clinical settings with compassion and integrity.
The Saline Process is a specialised evangelism approach developed for healthcare professionals. It equips doctors, nurses, and other health workers with practical skills to share the Gospel naturally and compassionately within healthcare contexts.
UHCF Uganda is a proud affiliate of the global Saline Process network. We run regular training workshops that have equipped hundreds of healthcare workers across Uganda to integrate faith-sharing with excellent clinical care.
The training covers: understanding the spiritual needs of patients, ethical boundaries in healthcare witnessing, practical conversation skills, and follow-up support.
Growing deeper in faith through Bible study, mentorship, and community. Our discipleship programmes help healthcare professionals ground their practice in Christian values.
The UHCF Discipleship Ministry is committed to helping healthcare professionals grow in their faith and integrate Christian values into every area of their lives and work.
We run small-group Bible studies, one-on-one mentorship programmes, and annual discipleship retreats. Our curriculum is specifically designed for healthcare professionals, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities of serving in medical settings.
Topics covered include: medical ethics from a Christian perspective, servant leadership in healthcare, self-care and spiritual resilience for health workers, and living out faith in secular workplaces.
