Calvary greetings to you all in the Name of Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior!
In 1 Kings 3, Solomon realized that wisdom was the greatest of all God’s gifts. In verse 3, the King went to the high place in Gibeon to sacrifice a thousand burnt offerings to the Lord. That same night, the time of worship and burnt offerings was still fresh in Solomon’s mind. In verse 5 the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream and said: “Ask for whatever you want me to give you”. In verse 9 Solomon said: “Give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong” V11: “God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not long life or wealth for yourself, nor have you asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment and administering justice, I will do what you have asked…” V13: “Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for – both riches and honor”.
The Lord did everything to Solomon as He had promised in the dream. Let us ask the Lord for wisdom and discernment in the health fields. The Lord is looking at our hearts and He is waiting for men and women to stand in the gap in prayer. May God give us discernment and wisdom to know how to pray for our health fields like never before. Let us pray for those Christians in leadership positions in the health fields of Uganda to make the right decisions and to stand up for what is right.
